The charity aims to promote public safety, and in particular
the safety of the children and young people with the provision
of training and education to teachers, youth workers, children
and young people. The charity aims to improve the ability
of young people to gauge risk and protect themselves but without
making them frightened to develop their own independence.
The initial work undertaken by Milly's fund will focus on
young people in their early teens who are just beginning to
lead more independant lives.
The charity plans to work alongside The Suzy Lamplugh Trust
the leading authority on personal safety.
